Who runs Gaffer

Gaffer is a small, independently run fantasy football app. It is not affiliated with FIFA, the Premier League, or any club or competition whose data it displays.

What we collect

• Your account: email address, the manager name you choose, and an account identifier. If you sign in with Google we receive your email address and name — nothing else, and never your Google password.
• What you do in the app: leagues, team names and crests, drafted players, lineups, trades, waiver claims, and any messages you send in a league chat.
• Notification settings: whether you want emails, and a push token for each browser or phone you enable push on (for the Gaffer app, also the phone's platform and the app version).
• Basic usage analytics: which pages are opened and which actions are taken, tied to your account identifier (pseudonymous, not anonymous).

What we do not collect

No payment details — Gaffer takes no payments. We do not request your device's precise location. Our service providers may process IP addresses and approximate location as part of hosting and analytics. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, for any purpose.

Your email address is never attached to analytics events.

Why we collect it

To run your leagues, keep you signed in, show other managers who you are, and send the notifications you asked for. That is the whole list. We do not use your data to build a profile of you or to advertise to you.

Who it is shared with

Gaffer runs on a small number of service providers, who process data only to keep the app working:

• Supabase — accounts, sign-in, and the database.
• Vercel — hosting and delivery.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Resend — notification emails, if you have them switched on.
• Expo — delivers push notifications to the Gaffer app on your phone, if you allow them.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your active league. A sign-in session may use more than one cookie. When product analytics is enabled, PostHog also uses browser storage and cookies to recognize visits. These are used to understand and improve Gaffer, not for advertising.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. You can delete it yourself at gaffer.futbol/account/delete: your email address, manager name, league chat messages, push devices and notification history are deleted, and so is your sign-in. Your picks, lineups and results stay in the leagues you played in under the name “Deleted manager” — a draft board with a blank seat in it is not much use to the people still in that league.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — or delete your account yourself at gaffer.futbol/account/delete. Email Pemdaspapers@gmail.com and we will action it. If you signed in with Google, you can also revoke Gaffer's access at any time from your Google account settings.

Children

Gaffer is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
