What Gaffer is

Gaffer is a free fantasy football app: you draft real players, and real match data scores them. It is run independently and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to FIFA, the Premier League, or any club, competition or player whose data it displays. Club and competition names are used only to describe real fixtures.

By using Gaffer you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use it.

Your account

You need an account to join a league. Keep your sign-in details to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. You must be at least 13 years old.

No money, no prizes, no betting

Gaffer is a game of skill played for nothing. We do not take entry fees, we do not hold stakes, we do not pay prizes, and we are not a gambling service.

If a group of friends chooses to wager among themselves outside the app, that is entirely between them. Gaffer is not involved, takes no cut, holds no money, and will not settle disputes about it.

The football data

Scores, stats, fixtures and injury flags come from third-party feeds. They can be late, incomplete, or simply wrong, and they are sometimes corrected after the fact — which means fantasy points can move after you have seen them.

We make no promise that any number in the app is accurate. Do not rely on it for anything that matters.

Behave yourself

While using Gaffer, please do not:

• Harass, abuse or threaten other managers, including in league chat.
• Try to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the app or anyone else's account.
• Scrape the app or hammer it with automated requests.
• Impersonate someone else, in your manager name, team name or anywhere else.

Availability

Gaffer is free and provided as-is. It may change, break, go offline, or stop existing. Features can be added or removed, and there is no uptime guarantee and no support commitment. We will not be liable for any loss arising from your use of it, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Ending your account

You can ask us to close your account at any time — email Pemdaspapers@gmail.com. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or that is being used to spoil the game for other people.

Changes

These terms may change. If they do, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and continuing to use Gaffer means you accept the new version.
